I cannot activate the product with the username

I cannot activate the product with the username and license number provided, I get the message connect to the internet.
I am connected, the firewall and antivirus is off yet it will still not activate. When I click the check for upgrades option in the menu
It says I have the latest version, so it does recognize that I am connected. Please help, here is the info provided to register with
